MSU Extension Liberty County is an educational resource dedicated to improving the quality of people's lives by providing research-based knowledge to strengthen the social, economic and environmental well-being of family communities and agricultural enterprises. MSU Extension Liberty County works with county government and citizen advisory groups to provide services at the local level. Your local Extension office can provide information related to agriculture, gardening, food preservation, financial management and estate planning, to name a few. In addition, a strong network of volunteers helps Extension stretch its resources to accommodate more Montanans. The Extension office oversees the 4-H program, which is the largest, out-of -school youth development program in Montana, impacting over 25,000 youth every year.
MSU Liberty County Extension is funded jointly by Liberty County, the state of Montana and the United States Department of Agriculture. The Liberty County Extension office is located on the second floor of the Courthouse.
Montana State University has a number of informative MontGuides which are available at the Liberty County Extension office at no cost. These publications are also available online through the MSU publications store.
